Makenzie (A0322259) – 11-year-old 32 lb. female Beagle

Hi, Makenzie here - so happy to meet you. These days, I'm a pretty laid back girl who's just happy to be in your company. We really don't need to do anything at all, just being together is enough for me. Of course, a little bit of exercise would be good for me. Us girls gotta stay looking our best, even into our golden years. I’ll admit that I have a weakness for food – it comes with being a Beagle I guess. But I’m not just a chow hound, I'm also a well-mannered and calm gal and I even know how to sit, lay down and give paw too. What can I say, I'm just a pleasure to be around. Take me home and see for yourself!

Being an older gal, I take medication for my thyroid. But not to worry, I’m a part of the shelter’s Fospice program. Adopt me and all my routine medical care, food, medication and other supplies will be provided by Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, free of charge. Meet with an Adoption Coordinator to learn more.

Cindy (A0339532) – 3-year-old female Domestic Shorthair

Cindy here! I'm looking for a home to take me in. Like any cat, I would love to have a warm home, lots of love, and a lap to sit on. I'm a little more on the shy side, so when you first adopt me, you might find my beautiful green eyes peeking out at you from under the bed. But with a little patience and time, I'm sure I'll warm up to you and we'll be the best of friends. Do you think you could spare a little love for a shy girl like me?

Stop by the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League to meet this week's pets and while you're there ask us about our Name Your Own Adoption Fee promotion!
